Each year a new group of student leaders step into their roles. Many feel anxious, underprepared or underqualified as they look to lead in their university Christian Union.
To build these students up, each year we deliver key training events and essential resources that ensure student leaders will grow in their confidence to lead with clarity, conviction and confidence.
‘I was nervous about stepping into my role on committee. I wasn’t sure what exactly to do and overwhelmed about how big the role felt. But the [training] weekend really helped me to focus on Jesus and His grace. Through the teaching I was reminded that CU isn’t the main goal of our faith, CU is an outworking of Jesus being the main goal in our lives. The love of Him drives what we do. It’s a joy to serve God and share Him, because we’ve received His grace.’
