Ethan will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2026.
Ethan is doing Relay in Lancaster, supporting the Christian Union in Lancaster University.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Hello, I'm Ethan and I am one of the Relay Workers supporting Lancaster CU! I studied for my undergraduate degree in Lancaster and throughout those three years I have been involved with the CU both as a member and also on the committee.
I chose to do Relay because I would like to provide other Christian students with the necessary tools and support to carry out evangelism on campus, particularly with those who may have never heard the story of Jesus before. During my time at university, I benefitted from the strong Christian community and I am keen to continue supporting it. I am also excited to dive into studying the Bible and deepening my relationship with Jesus during this year, and to have opportunities to strengthen my capacity to deliver evangelistic talks.
Relay is a voluntary role, and as such I will be dependant on the support of my family and church community in order to carry out my work. Most importantly, the best way you can support me is through prayer! I have listed a few key prayer points below and also will send out a monthly prayer letter, the link to which can also be found on this page. Additionally, I aim to raise £12,000 to cover my living and ministry costs and if you can give financially in any way, I would be most appreciative!
God bless :)
