Fflur will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2025.
Fflur is doing Relay in Aberystwyth, supporting the Christian Unions in Aberystwyth University and Aberystwyth University - Welsh.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Helo ‘na! My name is Fflur and I will be a Relay Worker this year for the CUs in Aberystwyth.
I was told that my time at university would be one of the most fulfilling and transforming periods of my life, and that has certainly been true for me as a student at Aberystwyth. It has been a joy to build deep friendships with other Christians my age and to see what sharing the good news we have looks like day to day.
I have gotten to know many Relay Workers well over the three years I have been here at Aber, and their guidance and care towards me and other students have had a profound impact on me. I’m so thankful for them and have been inspired to follow in their footsteps. My prayer is that the Lord will use me in the same way, so that every student at Aberystwyth can see more of who Jesus is - whether they are seeking to grow in Him as Christians or are considering learning about Him for the very first time.
Although there are some elements of Relay that seem daunting, I’m so grateful that the Lord will be with me each step of the way. I would also love your support and partnership during this time, as I’m aware that the Lord can use our prayers in a powerful way! If you feel comfortable doing so, I would be grateful for financial aid as I seek to raise £12,000 towards my ministry and living expenses next year.
Diolch!
