CU Staff Worker in our Central region.
As a student, I loved being involved in the Cambridge CU - from attending the pre-term freshers’ getaway to being on committee in my final year, I couldn’t get enough of it! Being part of CU gave me not only a deeper love of Jesus, but also a deeper desire to share Him with those around me. I was continually blown away by the openness of university students to spiritual things, and had the joy of seeing various students come to meet Jesus for the first time.
Doing the UCCF Relay program this past year has only served to increase my conviction that student ministry is vital, and by God’s grace, really does change lives. As both a student and Relay Worker, I have been hugely blessed by my Staff Workers’ support, and I am delighted to have been appointed as the next Cambridge and East Anglia Staff Worker for the coming years, and God-willing be a similar blessing to future CU leaders!
I will continue to be based in Cambridge, a city that I have grown to love, and am so looking forward to coming alongside the CU groups there, supporting and encouraging them to live and speak for Jesus in their unique contexts as students. God-willing I will also be able to meet and talk to many unbelieving students and share the good news of Jesus with them too.
I definitely cannot do a thing in my own strength, let alone attempt to make Jesus known. As such, I would love your support with me in this ministry by prayer, and if you are able, financially. What a joy to be partners together in this life-changing ministry!
