Leah Moore

Leah will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2025.

Leah is doing Relay in Cardiff, supporting the Christian Union in Cardiff University.

Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.

Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Leah says...

Hey, I'm Leah! I've just finished four years studying Spanish and Italian, and am really excited to be staying in Cardiff this year, serving as a Relay Worker alongside the Christian Unions.

The CU has been such a huge part of my university life. I've been challenged, encouraged, and blessed by friends who boldly lived out their faith and showed me what it looks like to share the good news of Jesus. It's been amazing to see God move on campus, changing lives, and I'm so thankful to continue being part of what He is doing in Cardiff.

This year, I'll be coming alongside CU students — encouraging them to love their friends well as they seek to shine for Jesus and point others to Him. I'm also looking forward to growing in my own faith in God through the study programme and seeing how He continues to shape me in Christ.

It's such a joy to know it's God who equips and sustains, and I'd love your support as I step into this year. Please would you consider praying for me — for energy, wisdom, boldness, and humility?

Relay is also fully self-funded, so if you're able, I'd be grateful if you'd consider partnering with me financially to help cover my living and ministry costs.

I'd love to stay in touch. Please sign up for my prayer letters or drop me a message!

Pray for Leah

Prayer is a vital part of supporting Leah’s work with Christian Unions. Here are some prayer points from Leah:

  • For the students of Cardiff — that God would pour His Spirit out on the city and that students would declare Him as their Lord and Saviour!
  • For a humble heart that would allow God to challenge and transform me through a deeper study of His Word.
  • That God would keep opening doors for meaningful gospel-centred conversations with my friends and that I would be filled with boldness and gentleness as I try to answer their questions!

Partner with Leah

It costs on average £8,000–12,000 to cover the living and ministry expenses of a Relay Worker.

Having a team of people who partner financially and in prayer with Relay Workers means that they can:

  • Encourage CU students in their faith in the Lord Jesus.
  • Give biblically-grounded answers to students exploring Christianity.
  • Support CUs as they seek to give every student the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.
