Nathan will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2026.

Nathan is doing Relay in Dundee, supporting the Christian Unions in the University of Abertay and the University of Dundee.

Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.

Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Nathan says...

Hey, I'm Nathan and next semester, I will be starting my position as Relay Worker in Dundee! I have just spent the last four years studying in Stirling.

I became a Christian towards the latter years of high school, but suffered from a lack of a solid Christian community to help me grow in my faith in Jesus. But praise the Lord, he gave me a great fellowship of saints through Stirling Christian Union alongside my university church. My time in Stirling has been a period of great spiritual growth in many areas of my life. Whilst at University, I have developed a longing to meet with God through His Word daily and just enjoy Scripture more generally. This was thanks to a Relay Worker who helped me through a series of studies from the Uncover Mark resource. From this, it became clear to me the benefit of having Staff and Relay Workers, who were committed to loving and serving our CU. So, inspired by these individuals, I too decided to take ten months out to do Relay!

My prayer for the CUs in Dundee is that the Lord would increase their faith and willingness to share the good news of Jesus with a world that is so lost and in need of true redemption and liberation through our friend and Lord Jesus.

Relay is a voluntary position, so I will be relying on the kindness of my support partners' prayers and financial giving.
