Noah Lord

Noah will be starting work with UCCF as Relay Worker in August 2026.

Noah is doing Relay in York, supporting the Christian Unions in York St John University and the University of York.

Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.

Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Noah says...

Helô! I'm Noah and I'll be working with the CUs in York, as well as alongside the Digital Team at UCCF.

I grew up in church, up in North Wales, and have had the privilege of experiencing God's love from a young age. I was baptised in 2018 and have loved seeing how God's moved through my life, from the small to the larger moments.

I recently finished a degree in Interactive Media at the University of York. During my time there, I really got stuck in - helping to run the Impact Group within James College (one of the colleges on campus) and spending a year as Publicity Coordinator. I got to experience God's provision during my time working within the CU, working through me and the people around me, which really helped me grow into the Christian I am today!

As it's been such a big part of my journey over the last three years, I want to continue to see God move in students throughout York and across the UK. It's really encouraging to see what can happen when God moves, and I'm looking forward to experiencing how God will move through me throughout my term.

Relay is a completely voluntary role, so financial aid is super appreciated; more importantly, nothing can happen without prayer. So if you'd be willing, please donate and/or sign up for my prayer letter! Diolch

Pray for Noah

Prayer is a vital part of supporting Noah’s work with Christian Unions. Here are some prayer points from Noah:

  • That God would continue to work through the students in York, and we continue to see His Spirit move.
  • That God would work through me this year, and I keep my focus on His plan for me.
  • That the Christians and non-Christians in York will be able to see God's Spirit working through me and be encouraged by that.

Partner with Noah

It costs on average £10,000–£14,000 to cover the living and ministry expenses of a Relay Worker.

Having a team of people who partner financially and in prayer with Relay Workers means that they can:

  • Encourage CU students in their faith in the Lord Jesus.
  • Give biblically-grounded answers to students exploring Christianity.
  • Support CUs as they seek to give every student the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.
