Sebastian will be starting with UCCF as a Relay Worker in August 2026.

Sebastian is doing Relay in Manchester, supporting the Christian Unions in Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Manchester.

Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.

Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.

Sebastian says...

Serving the University of Manchester's CU during my Management degree ignited my passion for student ministry, and I will be supporting the Manchester CUs in a full-time capacity over the coming year. During my studies, CU helped grow and mature me in faith immeasurably, as I saw God at work in and through me, so I am excited about being dedicated to meeting seekers and believers where they are at, building God's Kingdom and seeing churches in Manchester unified through the gospel.

Relay will include meeting with students to explore truths of the Bible, sharing the gospel through creative means, helping organise and run CU events, enabling the committee in their roles and supporting the running of smaller CUs, as well as being discipled and diving deep into theological studies.
