Head of Finance

UCCF: The Christian Unions is seeking a Head of Finance to fill a key role in our lively and Christ-centred office. The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance on financial aspects of UCCF’s ministry and oversee the accountancy needs of the fellowship. They will manage the Accounts Team and provide financial input and advice to UCCF’s Directors and Trust Board.

We are seeking someone methodical but pro-active, who thinks clearly and can solve problems. Able to communicate account information in a clear manner to non-accounting staff, and looking to innovate systems and processes, they will give strategic and practical direction to the financial aspects of UCCF’s work, as well as managing and undertaking accountancy needs. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with membership of the appropriate professional body.

The role is full time and based in the UCCF office in central Oxford. Salary is between £37,500 - £43,700 pa depending on experience. The holiday allowance is 30 days, plus the eight public days. The ideal start date is 1 September 2022. All other terms and conditions will be explained at interview.
