Ellie is doing Relay in London, supporting the Christian Union in University College London.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Ellie says...
Hello! I'm Ellie and I'm working alongside the CU at UCL as a Relay Worker! I already had an amazing year serving alongside this CU whilst doing my masters degree at UCL; I was so encouraged to see all that God is doing on this campus to draw people to Himself. As I graduate and start to work with the CU as a Relay worker this year, I'm excited to see everything that God has in store as He continues to work through the CU.
I'm looking forward to working with UCL CU for so many reasons, one being that the CU is at an exciting point in its history, as they try out new ways of doing creative evangelism and try new structures for regular events. Another reason is that I’m really looking forward to helping support Christian students grow in their faith and love of Jesus through one-to-one Bible studies! I’m also super excited to grow in my knowledge and love of God through the Relay study programme.
To enable this work, it would be amazing if you’d partner with me this year. There are two ways to support. First, you can do this through praying for me; I’d love for you to pray for the Lord to sustain, lead, and grow me as I work alongside the students at UCL. Second, you can do this through supporting me financially as I raise the ministry and living costs to enable me to help students share the gospel.

- Thank the Lord for all the ways that He's been at work through UCL CU so far, proclaiming the gospel through events week, question-for-a-coffee times, and more.
- Please pray that God would keep working through UCL CU, and that He would guide us as we plan our events so that He is at the centre of everything we do.
- Please pray that I will keep my eyes fixed on Jesus throughout doing Relay, and that I will lean on him as my strength.
