Relay Worker in our Scotland region.
Fiona is doing Relay in St Andrews, supporting the Christian Union in the University of St Andrews.
Relay is a ten-month discipleship, training and mission programme run by UCCF, a charity which aims to give every student in Great Britain an opportunity to hear and respond to the good news about Jesus Christ.
Relay Workers equip, resource and encourage student Christian Unions whilst being discipled and trained by a member of UCCF staff.
Hi! I'm Fiona, I have spent the past four years in Aberdeen studying Theology and Religion, and I will be moving down to St Andrews to serve as their Relay Worker.
My time in Aberdeen CU has been so encouraging and a big part of my university life, allowing me to grow in my own faith and how I share it with other people. I am so excited to be moving down to St Andrews to support and encourage the students in St Andrews CU as they share the gospel.
This year will be a wonderful opportunity to spend time deepening my relationship with God and growing in my personal faith and reliance as well. Throughout the next year, I will learn to rely on God as he provides for me. I would really appreciate your support in prayer. I will be sending out regular prayer letters throughout the year. I would also appreciate if you are able to prayerfully consider financially supporting me this year, I would really appreciate the support as I am raising the money to cover my expenses since Relay is a voluntary role.
I would love to hear from you if you have any questions or would like to partner with me, whether that is in prayer or financially.
Prayer is a vital part of supporting Fiona’s work with Christian Unions. Here are some prayer points from Fiona:
It costs on average £10,000–£14,000 to cover the living and ministry expenses of a Relay Worker.
