Niamh will be starting work with UCCF as Music Staff Worker in August 2021.
My time in the Christian Union was a particularly formative time in my faith. I was encouraged to read the Bible really carefully and was helped to get stuck into a great church family. It was a period of real growth for me and my friends while we navigated what it looked like to own our faith for ourselves in an environment away from our parents that was pretty hostile to the gospel.
My years at uni were also probably the most fruitful in terms of evangelism I've had so far; lots of flyering and sloppy-but-zealous Uncover Bible studies with friends were the norm! It was a particular joy to see people come to faith in Jesus and as a student worker at Grace Church, I've seen God continue to work through the Christian Union to seek and save the lost.
That's why I'm really excited to start work this August as a Staff Worker with UCCF. I'll be working alongside the students in the London music colleges and I am praying that God will use me to equip and encourage them to continue to speak boldly about Jesus. I feel particularly privileged to work with young musicians who are about to make their start in an industry that's so secular, and I'm excited to help root them firmly in the gospel and get them ready for a life-long mission. I would love it if you would consider partnering with me in this work either financially or in prayer so that many might come to know Jesus as their saviour.
