Cymru. Whether you’re as Welsh as an Eisteddfod, or you don’t know your Aberystwyth from your Abergavenny, our country has a special way of making those who study here fall in love with it.
This summer you have a chance to get to know Wales a little better - while giving a little back - by spending a week with the local church in Ammanford, serving God together by sharing the gospel with that community, and receiving top-class training that will warm your heart and inform your own evangelism.
From 23 - 30 June, we’ll begin each day with prayer and Bible reading as a team, followed by a training seminar on a key aspect of evangelism. After that, we’ll head into town to grab lunch and to get to know the local community. Evenings will include various evangelistic events and we’ll end the week with a Saturday Family Fun Day and a Mission Sunday Service.
This is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about evangelism, who wants to grow in their own everyday ministry, and who wants to use their summer well by serving the church in Wales as it seeks to fulfil the Great Commission in an area that really needs the gospel.
You'll be staying with a family from the church. Meals are included in the cost of the trip, which will be £20pp for the week.
The Team will be led by Connor Reid, staff worker supporting the CU members in Swansea and Carmarthen. If you still have questions do contact Connor here
