Forum is the only conference which gathers Christian Union leaders across Great Britain to train and equip them to lead and serve their CU’s. Not only will you receive great Bible teaching in the morning and evening arena meetings, but workshops throughout the day provide practical insight to help you serve your CU. With specialist speakers talking on pertinent subjects that your campuses are talking about, you will leave Forum feeling not only equipped in your role as a CU leader but to live and speak for Jesus in all areas of life. There really is no better way to start the new academic year than alongside your fellow CU leaders being encouraged, equipped and inspired as you gather with CU leaders from all across Great Britain.
There is a £25 non-refundable deposit paid for all bookings in order to reserve your place at Forum 2024. The last date to pay your deposit is Thursday 11 July 2024 as the full balance of your deposit must be paid by Friday 12 July 2023. If you have not paid in full by 12 July, your £25 deposit will be kept and your booking may be cancelled. The final booking deadline is: Sunday 26 August 2024.
We don’t want money to be an obstacle to you receiving valuable training as a CU leader. Here are some ways to cover the cost of coming to Forum:
Local church: Churches love to enable CU leaders to attend Forum. Talk to your CU Staff Worker about the best way to approach your local or home church for funding.
Student unions: some SUs provide funding for societies to receive training. Why not get in contact with them to see if this is an option at your university.
Bursaries: Forum provides a limited number of discounted hardship places for anyone who has exhausted the above options and is still struggling with the cost. Talk with your CU Staff Worker for more details.
