The move to university is a significant one. While many students are excited, this big move can be unsettling and can make some feel insecure. Join us in praying for them:
Pray for international students. Moving to a new country and adjusting to a new culture is a great adventure - and a great challenge. Pray that CU students would be a warm welcome to those far from home, coming alongside them and holding out the gospel.
Pray for Christian students to find their CU. It is a great encouragement to meet friendly older students in the CU in their new cities. CUs can help them navigate starting university, find a church in their new city, and begin to live and speak for Jesus there.
Pray for genuine seekers arriving as new students. As Christian students grow lasting friendships with them and demonstrate that the CU is a safe place to find a welcome and ask questions, some will eventually find faith in Jesus for themselves.
Pray for CUs as they welcome new students. Most CUs hope to welcome new students to grow in friendship and explore the gospel together. Pray that as God leads CU students, Christian freshers are supported to live and speak faithfully among their friends – and, in turn, many seekers come to find life in Jesus.
